The World in Mono

01
Beyond the Gate
Morning light slips beneath a weathered wooden gate, casting long geometric shadows across the tarmac. The contrast between darkness and light transforms an everyday scene into a study of pattern, texture and quiet intrigue.

02
Monolith
A monochrome abstract photograph of interlocking concrete sea defences viewed from above. Strong sunlight casts deep angular shadows across the weathered surfaces, transforming the repeating forms into a study of geometry, texture and contrast.

03
Connections
A monochrome study of a spider's web adorned with rain droplets. Each droplet catches the light like a tiny lens, transforming a fragile web into an intricate network of shimmering connections suspended in the air.

04
Gathering
A monochrome minimalist composition of birds resting along converging telephone wires. Against a vast, muted sky, the simple geometry of pole and wire becomes a quiet study of balance, rhythm and collective pause.
